RN 281 HPP Radial Riveting Machine

The BalTec RN 281 HPP is a complete bench-top radial riveting workstation built around a stable cast column and table assembly with integrated HPP-25 process control. The pneumatic drive delivers controlled orbital forming forces with real-time monitoring of force, stroke, and forming path to ensure every joint meets specification.

The HPP-25 process controller captures force-displacement curves for each rivet cycle, enabling statistical process control and full traceability for automotive, aerospace, and medical device assembly lines. The machine accepts rivets from 1 mm to 14 mm head diameter and provides adjustable forming speed profiles for different material combinations.

BalTec radial riveting uses an orbiting tool that forms the rivet head progressively, applying lower axial forces than impact riveting while producing stronger joints with better surface finish. The RN series covers forming forces from 3 kN to 250 kN across the complete product line, with the RN 281 positioned as the standard mid-range production unit.
