The Schaublin 125-CCN is a high-precision CNC turning center built on a cast-iron parallel flat-bed design with 125 mm center height and 500 mm distance between centers. The X and Z linear axes run on cast-iron-on-cast-iron slides, a traditional precision lathe construction that provides exceptional geometric accuracy and long-term dimensional stability.
The spindle operates steplessly from 0 to 5,000 RPM with 7.5 kW power and maximum torque values of 58 Nm and 42 Nm. The camlock D1-3 spindle nose with B32 internal taper accepts standard workholding equipment. The machine's two linear axes plus C-axis kinematics enable both straight turning and interpolated contour machining.
Schaublin Machines SA, located in the Swiss Jura Arc watchmaking region, has produced precision lathes since the 19th century. Each machine is configured to customer specifications with over 100,000 Schaublin lathes in operation worldwide, many exceeding 60 years of operational life. The 125-CCN serves watchmaking, medical device, and precision engineering applications where micron-level accuracy and surface finish quality are non-negotiable specifications.
