B620 YS Universal CNC Turning Center

The Biglia B620 YS represents the current generation of modular multitask turning centers from the Italian manufacturer, offering a wide spectrum of machining possibilities from universal turning to complete machining of complex components in a single setup. The modular architecture accommodates CNC automatic tailstock, second spindle, rotary tools, C-axis on both spindles, and Y-axis driven tools.

With 15 rotary tool positions and simultaneous multi-axis interpolation, the B620 YS handles turning, milling, drilling, tapping, and off-center machining operations without transferring the workpiece to a second machine. The sub-spindle enables backworking operations on the reverse side of the part, delivering fully finished components from bar stock.

The machine targets mid-volume production environments in automotive, hydraulic, and general engineering sectors where part variety requires frequent changeovers. Biglia's tool management system and conversational programming interface reduce setup times between different part families while maintaining consistent quality across mixed-volume production schedules.
